Resin Thermal Ribbons (per Case)

Resin ribbons comes on a 1" core with 12, 24 & 36 ribbons per box. Thermal ribbons are a critical component in thermal transfer printing. In this print method, a hot print head creates the printed image by melting the ribbon material onto the paper stock. The resulting print stabilizes quickly and is durable enough for most non-archival barcode and shipping needs.Labels and Ribbons

This particular ribbon is Coated Side Out. This means that the ribbon has been wound out around the ribbon core so the ink is facing outward. When using thermal ribbon, you will want to unroll it from the bottom and feed it underneath the print head. Compatible with most TSC & Zebra industrial printers.

This ribbon type is wax resin. It is a combination of wax and resin which creates a barrier to protect against smudges, scratches, and abrasions. Wax resin ribbons are an optimal choice for printing on synthetic substrates, such as polypropylene, as well as coated, glossy, matte, or weatherproof materials.
